Shipping Information & Procedure for Sending Band Mill Blades for
Sharpening
MQSHARP now accepts credit
cards (Visa, Mastercard and Discover).
All orders shipped will be paid for by credit card or
COD.
Band Mill Blade Shipping
Procedure
-
Bands
must be held with wire for safety
- it keeps them from coming apart and tangling with others. Do not use
tape, string, twine, or wire ties. They do break and
are not safe.
-
Bands
must be in a box
- separated by cardboard so that the teeth do not rub on otherbands and
become dull. Storing them in a box will help prevent
rust.
-
Box
must be sturdy and capable of return shipping
- if not, we will have to charge you for a new box.
-
Box to be
clearly marked with customer name, address and phone
number
-
Inspect
your bands for cracks, kinks, or bends
- any bands bent, kinked or cracked will not be sharpened.
-
Bands with
multiple broken teeth will not be sharpened
-
Bands
should be cleaned of pitch and gum
- Any bands with excessive pitch and gum will have to be removed and we
will have to charge for that.
-
Most bands
are not worth re-welding
- but it can be done (case by case). Any bands bent, sharpened multiple
times, or re-welding will make them too short and
not worth repairing.
Thank you
for your attention to these matters and thank you for
your business!
